Windberg?????

I am from Texas and down here everyone has heard of an artist named Dalhart Windberg. I'm just wondering how well he is know outside our little circle and what the general opinion of his work is to those who haven't grown up with at least one of his prints in their grandma's house.

We used to handle a few of Windberg's prints...probably 20-25 years ago. Didn't he a rather famous rendering of the natural snow-filled cross on the mountain? He was never huge around here. Seems every region had their favored artists during that era.
I pretty much quit handling Limited Edition Reproductions not long after that, and then the bottom fell out in the late 80's.

Used to be around Tennessee in the 80-90's also. Had a tree print in my house for awhile. Haven't seen one in years.
