Website Critics Needed

I finally got some spare time to work on my personal website and I am in the process of testing it and adding some finishing touches to it.
I was wondering if you could give me some constructive criticism.
I am also still working on the pricing so the pricing that you see is not real.

Looks great so far.

Are those buttons at the bottoms forced ads for having the website? They're a little distracting....so move away from that sometime....but other than that it looks REALLY nice.

Man that`s cool...Course I`m a black backgrond junkie...Just makes the colors POP,dontcha think?I mean,look at those flowers,ya want to just touch them. BTW,great furniture! Is that organic chair built of laminated wood? Neat! L. (www.prism-studios.org see...black!)

Yes, the organic chair is built of plywood. I rough cut 3/4" plywood to their appropriate shapes and glue them together (with a few screws for reinforcement). I then take out my grinder equipped with a special grinder bit and sculpt it to it's final shape. I take out the sandpaper, lots and lots of them, and start sanding to get that shinny smooth finish. Then several coats of poly. It took me about a month working on it part time.

Yes I like it, quite dynamic. and especially the choice of colours and flowers (ooopps "colors") and instantly draws your focus to the art, etc. may I add my little bit by asking if you are selling art or framing?
For selling art pieces then the intro has the correct appeal but misses out on the framing side, please don't take this as a critisism, just an observation. Also couldn't see any obvious spelling mistakes.

Beautiful, love the color choices, makes the graphics really POP!!

Only other comment is on the main page. When I viewed it in IE6 the controls for the slide show were smack-dab in the middle of the pictures covering the middle of the images. Is that the way it is set up? If so, could the controls be moved to below the slide show?

The site is meant to sell the art. I do have frameshop but that is another website (www.ArtHausFraming.com)
I am always open to constructive criticism. It helps me make improvements to the website.

The controls were placed in the center and it should disappear when you move the mouse pointer away .
