Looking for input on this. Anyone working with or knowledgeable with Morso chopper where sometimes after cut, the blades pull on the moulding as they move back up into position, effectively sticking. Is an adjustment in order or some treatment on the blades (wax or oil)?

Appreciate the thoughts. Thank you.

Do you release the detent before letting the blades rise after any cut?
The tollerances are so tight on these machines that you need to back off the blade position before raising them back up.
Any lubricatuon would interfere with glue adhesion on the miters.

I had not tried releasing the detent to pull blades back and yet it makes perfect sense. Much appreciated for the response.

Thank you

The place for wax is on the rebate (rabbet) supports, IF you don't have the handy dandy rods that lock them in place.

Yep - lube the front of the rebate supports with dry lube or a wax candle and give the slot they slide in a smear of light oil. I always kept a can of spray lube handy and gave all the moving parts a quick squirt before starting a cutting session.
