Crescent is the official US source. Future Mat Designer is no longer supported, but they may be able to get you on the current software - if the hardware supports it. It can be determined by the serial number, I believe.
The error could indicate file corruption on the hard drive, referencing some kind of array issue with the data. Was a new antivirus program recently installed? Have you tried after rebooting the machine? (you probably did that already) I would also re-seat the cables.
Reinstalling the software may fix it, if you still have it, at the risk of potentially requiring a new one time use serial #. Are you making backups of the program folder that could be restored?
I know the older machines eventually have an error because the battery dies on the controller board, but I believe that was a different error while trying to validate the serial #/activation license.
If you do upgrade to the new software, it's the perfect time to replace the computer with a modern Windows 11 machine that will be reliable for years to come. I'm assuming you are on Windows XP now with Future Mat Designer?
