Does anyone recognize it - I do not know the artist it is labeled "the fisher boy"

Thanks

Here's someone in Australia who would appear to have "been inspired" by your print, or the painting it came from (midway down the page). No luck on finding the original...

thank you for your information - I do believe this is it -

we are looking to buy the poster, the link you gave was for the original.

do you have any idea where to buy the poster?

many thanks

I have tried Liebermans Art.com and other on line stores with no luck - it is called The Fisher Boy by artist Pro Hart from Austrailia - but there is another The Fisher Boy which is available but not the one my customer wants.

Pro Hart was the first guy on the CV Jones Gallery page I linked, but David Bromley (the artists change as you scroll down the gallery page) is the guy that did the painting I provided a link to - which is clearly (to me) essentially a copy in a different style of the older (at a guess, by style) painting your customer has a print of - which I was never able to track down.

I don't know if you did some additional research and connected to Pro Hart as doing the original painting in question, but based on what I could find and posted here, I don't think so.

The similarlity of many details in the paintings leads me to the conclusion that Mr. Bromley was probably working from it as his inspiration, but clearly the print is not of his painting, as there are significant differences in the entire style and colors.

Unfortunately the title comes up with LOTS of other art...

You are right - what a confusing web page - perhaps they should do a different page for each artist?

Anyway I found a web page for David Bromley and emailed it - I hope to get a response -

thanks for your help
