Pistorius air leak

We have a Pistorius MN-12. The measuring stop started to leak. I have attached a picture. When we push the brass button, the leak stops.
I wanted to know if this is something that I can fix if I take it apart. Thanks

If I recall correctly, that button is the one that releases the "clamp" part of the stop, yes?

Pretty sure that Pistorius didn't use proprietary parts for their air components, and that if you take it apart you will find an o-ring that is not quite an "O" anymore. Take it to your local hardware or auto parts store and you should be able to find one that looks like it used to. Put just a little bit of any sort of oil on it before replacing it and put the Irwin back in the cabinet.
