Hello Looking for info on a painter. Jerry Wright ( 2409 Gardenia, Lake Charles, LA 70601 439-1398 No date front or back. Small painting 11x14 readymade gold frame.

I bought the painting today because I loved it. It reminded me of the house I grew up in.

Just curious!

erm... have you tried calling the phone number?

Anyhow, here's a tidbit

[SIZE=-1]The featured artist at the Henning Center was watercolorist Jerry Wright. It was refreshing to see classic watercolor images styled in a new and exciting way. Ms. Wright's still life and florals literally jump off the paper and out of the frame with technique that brings life and motion to images that so often lay flat and unmotivated.

Hey Hanna, Not sure that is the same one, could be I swap mediums all the time.

Yes, I called using all 4 area codes for LA, two no working #'s, one no answer cell phone and I think I got cussed in cajun on the last. He did not know how I got his number but no ****** Jerry Wright lived there. Cool accent tho!

So I am sure it is just a lovely painting but just wondered. The detail is so nice.

interesting..we have several hand colored etchings in the gallery of south Louisiana buildings and houses done by a J. White dated 1979, wonder if it is the same guy?....My wife is a cajun and bought them years ago in Louisiana, so we found them in storage, framed them and put them in the gallery...she don't really remember much about how she found them origianally.
