That's a pretty old machine and may not be supported by Fletcher any more, but if you haven't already done so, a call to them might get some information.

If it is just the metal tube that you need, you might look at one of the several industrial supply parts houses such as McMaster-Carr for generic tubing. The length, O.D. and I.D. are all that you need to order in addition to the surface finish.

It appears to be a machined block, but it might be a candidate for 3D printing.

However, it is not the tubing, but the part that holds the glass wheel.

That's a cast and machined proprietary key part. Think in terms of the "secret sauce" of a design or of a recipe. A new-to-you used machine would be less expensive. Without that part, your machine is essentially scrap metal.

I’ve got an old, old Fletcher wall-mounted glass cutter, no idea what model, and a spare thing that holds a knife blade. Do you have a picture of the part you need?

I keep thinking that a hand-held cutter could be McGyvered into working.
We had a F-T glass cutter that predated the 8400 by a decade or two, bought in the 70's from a lumber yard that was upgrading their equipment, and it used hand-held cutters. Most any brand would work as it had a thumb screw that held the head of the cutter in place.
The slot on the top of the pillar post and the slots on F-T cutters got me wondering. If it does fit, shims could be added to the sides to keep it centered. If it is too tall for the opening the side with the slots could be ground down...
