Happy birthdays to Deb Derbonne and Bud Metcalfe!!

I hope you both enjoyed your birthdays as much as I did!

Picnic with friends, (I was elected cook!)

, then they found out that I was the only one who could drive a ski boat  , towed tubers all afternoon, came back, all the cooking was done

Happy Birthday..s Deb and Bud.

FGII, so how was it that someone owned a ski boat and didn't know how to operate it???? (or was it a clever ruse to avoid experiencing your cooking skills?)

So Deb...is this the big 29U? (remember that we only age 29 years...then we age alphabetically).

Happy Birthday Deb and Bud!

Any birthday tradidtions?

My birthday was the 25th also and I must be past 29Z by now. My birthday tradition has always been to go skinny dipping. Haven't made it the last couple of years but this year we were at Lake Tahoe a couple of weeks ago so I made good on my tradition in an isolated mountain lake being fed by waterfalls from snow melt. Eeeee haaaaa.

Note: it was verrrrrrrrry isolated!

No, it turned out that she (owner of the boat) decided she wanted to tube more than she wanted to drive!!

Not to worry, Deb, you have alot of letters left! I'm just wondering what one does when they run out of letters??

Do you start on the complete list of punctuation marks?? If that's the case, I am 29Z@!#$%^and a half!

Hey, thanks for the birthday wishes. I just came back from another birthday meal...I've had several.
I like that 29U, that would be the one.

Skinny dipping would be fun in an isolated area, but I haven't done that for quite awhile.
I went to a local bar with friends to hear some music. Since I love to dance I danced most of the night. There were no single men to be found so all the women in the place danced without 'em.
Girls know how to have fun! and we're still girls, no matter how old we get.

Thanks for all the kind birthday wishes; both public and private. You are all very generous. It's funny to be 60 and feel like 30 ... must be all the CornerWeld and Saw Dust I been inhaling for these last 15 years.
Thanks again.

Bud, trust me, age is simply a state of mind and an accumulation of years on a calendar! You can be as young or as old as you choose to be.

I don't ever want to "grow up" and become a citizen of seniority! I enjoy every day of my life as a big overgrown kid and most of my friends are much younger than I for that very reason. I find that many people my age are quite boring with talk of all their maladies, or trying to impress all who are within earshot with their "accomplishments" and their new "toys".

I have led a relatively healthy life, haven't accomplished much of anything noteworthy, and don't place importance in "toys" so I am left with just me as I am. And my friends appreciate that.

You can cram more fun and enjoyment into one positive day than all the negative days that you could ever spend complaining or feeling sorry for whatever bothers you. I choose the former and it sounds like you do also.
