I’ve been doing some digging on software versions of the Gunnar Mat Creator. The version we’ve been running on our F1 Hybrid for about the last 4 years is 2.0.23 (version 2.0.523.363)

Gunnar Int'l are showing that there’s now a version 5, with many many revisions in between!!

Do any users have some practical experience of where we should be with the software versions? There’s a lot of weird vector editing issues with the software version we are running and hopefully some of these issues have been addressed in later versions.

We are running the F1 Hybrid which is a fairly old machine, so there may be limits to which software version our machine can cope with.

Def check with the vendor on this one, too. It's likely that you'll need a new PC if going that many years, and that version 5 requires Windows 11 at a minimum. (If compat with the potentially older controller)

Here are the release notes, showing the differences from version 2, to version 5.

I don't have a Gunnar, so this advice may be wrong.
