Paul, I think he was having an engram disfunction. It was hard for him to conceptualize that mats are beautiful, and fabric is beautiful so: in therum

If given A=10
and if B=10
then (A+B)= 10squared?

Actually I was explaining how NOT to just think color, but think appropriate texture translated into which fabric... I think he was thinking about the baby pictures that we had discussed earlier and he was trying to decide "Silk or Cotton". :D

Very good student. Listens too.

BTW: RE: Terry manning a lonely post was no joke. As all of us were off playing and having fun, this is where Terry opted to stand watch if anyone needed information. [I think we were all eating... and for a framer to give up food..] All of the board members who worked so hard at bringing off one of the best education days ever... my hat is off and I am humbled. Thank you.

Hah.. Actually, that was my robotic clone. I was sitting in the back drinking a latte'.

Still trying to fix it so it doesn't stand around with that dazed goofy look on its face though. Oh well, time to start WizSteve 2.0..

Agreed, hats off to everyone who made the weekend succesful. Now if we could only get the majority of the Canadian framers to be so friendly and open!

James

Oh, and if I didn't say it already, thank you everyone who made me feel welcome ....again!

Steve, It was once said about the woodworkers that allways look like duuffs in the magazines

"Which came first the duffus look, or the I don't understand; I've cut it five times and it's still too short."

Go straight to 3.67 forget 2.0 they are always a duffus job-up.
