art fair season begins in Minnesota

Very nice blog entry! I usually enjoy looking around at an art fair, but it does get to be cliche and same ole after awhile. Being an artist myself, I enjoy the personal experiences of meeting and interacting with other artists and find that through that, I appreciate their art much more than at a feeding frenzy.

For this same reason, after going to the opening of a new
show, I often return on another day to see the art with
no one else around. For me, socializing and experiencing a piece of
art don't always work at the same time, and I much prefer
to experience art in the way that you described.
