My 20 year old Silent Aire loses pressure. I have used soap/water on all the connections and fittings. I haven't soaped the hose, yet. That will be a real PIA. Any of ya'll have suggestions or have an idea where the leak might be? I know I'll find it at the last place I check. Thanks for any ideas.

This may sound crazy, but check the tank for a pinhole. Sometimes those older Silent Aires rust from the inside out.

Compressor, the air lines or equipment leaking?

Disconnect everything from the compressor and test. If OK, connect one air line and test, connect one piece of equipment to the good air line and test; rinse and repeat until you have a winner.

If its the compressor, maybe time for a new one.

We had a leak in ours once and it was a leak in the hoses. Then we had an issue where it was taking long to charge, and the issue was a bad check valve. The part was cheap and easy to replace myself.

The techs at Werther International will help you out by phone or email to diagnose the cause, and you can order parts from them directly. They are in TX, representing USA.

We have ordered parts from them twice.

Thanks y'all. I've been tallking to Chris at Werther. I get my filters, oil and parts from them, too. I haven't soaped the whole tank, that's next. I'll order the check valve, too. Then I have to figure out laying the hose out so I can see if there's a leak, where it is. Thanks.
