What sizes of ready-made frames do you folks typically carry? We started out with 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, and 18x24. We since added 12x16 because that's an aspect ratio that photographers like. Recently we've had a couple of inquiries about 9x12 since that's a popular small canvas size.

So what do you carry?

8x10, 11x14, 12x12, 16x16, 16x20 (best seller), 18x24 (second best seller), 20x20, 12x24, 15x30, 18x36, 24x30, 24x36, 30x36, 30x40. I sell Fredrix stretched artist canvas in those sizes.

I keep very small numbers of 12x16, 20x24, 20x30, 22x28 and those are mostly the ones that haven't sold from when I made every size in mass quantities before moving to this space.

plus 11x17 and 15x22 sell well

4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 (best seller), 12x16, 16x20 (best seller), 18x24, 20x24, 24x36.
I sell Fredrix stretched artist canvas in most of those sizes, plus a few other sizes as well.

I keep very small numbers of 6x8, 8x8 and 10x10 as well (usually 3 or less in stock). ALL THREE of these sizes, plus ALL of my 4x6 and 5x7s, are cut from leftover scrap. I make these sizes only when I have enough scrap to make several at once.

Like Jeff, I there are many other sizes that I just don't sell enough of, so I don't stock them.

One advantage of selling the Fredrix canvas is that I tell the artists if they buy canvas here I have the ready mades in that size. When they buy sizes that I don't carry they have to pay more for frames. I always sell the canvas at 50% off of MSRP.

No one is selling the 14X14 for scrap book pages? We used to sell those all the time. (Mind you, we closed the store a few years ago.) But I do see them for sale at the local M's and Jo Anne's.
