Question Need moulding like CMI #2431, but . . .

Customer really likes the gold CMI moulding 2431, but on the sample I have the sides are brown instead of gold. Funny, I have used it before, but I never noticed the brown! Anyone know of a moulding that exactly matches this color and is gold on the front and sides? I need one approximately the same size (2-1/2") but that is not critical.

1728 might be the closest from CMI

other wise i got nothing like it.

The "exactly matches this color" part will be the hardest thing to match. Golds are always so different, often even from one batch to the next of the same moulding.

Take a look at Decor 6149 (2") and Decor 6762 (2 1/2").

I think these will be a little more orange and a little less yellow than the photo I have of the CMI moulding in their catalog, but they are the closest ones I know of.

Ok I'll be the one to ask...Why do the sides have to be gold? Are the frames going to be viewed from the side, like when walking down a hall or are they going to be hung so you don't see the sides? Just wanted to know
