I have several old relief frames that need repairing, the compo is missing in places. I want to make a mold or cast of the pattern that is missing. What is the easiest method to make a mold/cast from a sound ornament/design on the relief frame and then make the missing part? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

The easiest way I know is the two part silicone mold material. Also probably the most expensive. But it makes great detail & can handle relief & is fast. Liquid latex is also good & cheaper but messier, slower & smellier. Plasicine clay is good enough for making an impression of low relief, especially if you're not overly concerned with detail. And it's very cheap & reusable. Try Sculpture House, Micro Mark or a good art supply for materials. Hydrocal is a better plaster than plaster of paris for casting the ornaments.
