In the past, I've used it for Mylar attachments, and just now, can't find it at suppliers.
If it's been discontinued, what is a suitable replacement? Thanks.
 
I can't remember the source, but 3M (Scotch) Permanent* 665 was recommended when the 889 started getting scarce.
I have used it, but it is tricky because it has no carrier/liner. I used some yesterday to make some Mylar edge captures for a sink mount and it takes some getting used to because it sticks to your fingers.
I just checked Talas' website and they are suggesting 3M #415 1/4" for Mylar envelopes.

*It also comes in a positionable variety.
