I'm a relative newbie. I need a good large glass L square (40" or so). I can't afford a new Bohle so do any of you have any suggestions for a good alternative or a source for a good used Bohle?

Thanks!

Welcome to the G..

Been there where you are...

Something like this from Home Depot should do the job...

You may need to take a nick out at the inner corner of the L to allow the glass cutter run to the edge of the glass...

Make sure you glass cutting bench is as flat and sturdy as possible...more glass cutting goes wrong from a bench having a belly in it...

Also get the best glass cutting tool that you can afford...

Thanks a bunch! I found one on C.L. Laurence that was very affordable. My buddy who owns a glass shop has several and I got to check them out before buying.

Good choice Rick.

The best of luck with your new venture. ..
