Opinions Wanted framing pressed hibiscus flower

A client asked about preservation framing of a flower (hibiscus) that he has pressed for a year and says it has retained full color. My instinct is:

1. Recommend leaving it in a cool, dry, dark press for best preservation.

2. For display, framing using a UVF acrylic pressure mount on a padded neutral or alkaline backing. I feel the need to caution as to danger of fading with exposure to light even with the UVF.

Any experience or opinions you can share?

Thanks,

Jody

Maybe it should be encased in clear epoxy resin and then framed. There is little you can do to guarantee preservation of organic, ephemeral items.
