Hi! I won this and I'm really not into gadgets. It sells for $65 at United Mfrs. If anyone's interested, I'll sell it for $25 + $5 shipping. It's brand new in the box.

What?? You're a framer and you're not into gadgets?

I bought the light grip just before I moved my shop into smaller quarters and I would not be without it.

Somebody should snatch this up.

An alternative to the Lite Grip ...

Buy two metal yardsticks from Home Depot or your favorite hardware store. (About $6.00 total)

Use your round Bumpons ... Place a single bumbon in the center every 4 - 6 inches on the "scale side" of the yardstick. On the "back side" of the yard stick place side by side bumbons every foot.

Done. Total cost less than $7.00.

For large glass place yardsticks on table close together, for small glass place yardsticks far apart.

BTW, this makes putting FrameSpace from Frametek on the glass EXTREMELY easy and quick, because the glass sits up in the air and you don't have to turn it or anything.

Am I missing something or did you mean the opposite of what you said?
(if so, I'm used to it cause my wife don't know her left from her right.)

The two Lite Grips that I have owned have not opened and closed easily ... they worked fine out of the box but literally within a couple of days they both started to bind when expanding them. They were not in contact with any dirt to cause them to bind, nor were they subjected to rough or inappropriate handling. I sent the first one back and got the replacement but it's doing the same thing. The directions that come with it says that it's maintenance free and should not be lubricated. Any suggestions?

I messed up my first lite grip too by leaning it against the table when not in use. bent the metal just a little. Now I store is flat and no problems.
