I need to attach three 8 x 10 frames vertically with a satin ribbon and have a large bow at the top for them to hang from. Any suggestions on how to attach the ribbon to the frames so they hang neatly?? thanks

In the past I've used the oriental hangers (united 5614-5615-5616) or the brass plated and colonial bronze hangers (united 2440-2444) attaching one to the top of each frame and the bottoms of the middle frames. I've attached the ribbon with staples to the bottom of the last frame running the ribbon through each of the hangers and then up the back of the next frame (stapling) at the top and bottom. You can leave as much ribbon between each frame as needed. On the top frame, have the ribbon come through the top hangers, fashion a neat bow. I sewed a d-ring to the back of the bow for hanging purposes or didn't have the ribbon show at the top and just use the hanger attached to the frame. Hope this helps.

Will The ribbon actually support the weight of all three pieces? You could sew two pieces together with a wire rod in the middle, for added support, or I guess you could even use picture wire for that matter. Then you could attach using normal methods for wire.
