Chelsea Neilsen frames

I just opened a box of, "Chelsea" Black frames from Neilsen. Well, made in China. Upsetting. No UV glass, no acid free liner, not a protective package per the advertising wrapped all over it for Artcare products. The mats seem to be Bainbridge Artcare but nothing else is.

Deceptive at the very least.

Somebody screwed up.

We recently started carrying NB ready-mades featuring the ArtCare technology as well. the backing seemed to be conservation quality but the glass was very thin with no discernable conservation qualities despite claims to the contrary printed on the packaging. It certainly wasn't CC from TruVue. I wonder what the actual specs on the glass are; I also wonder if the wrong glazing was included at the factory.
