What are the recommended steps to changing a blade in the middle of cutting a multi-opening mat?

On my wizard 5000 I can press the space bar to pause cutting.

On our wizard, you can set the plunge count and the wizard will pause cutting after a certain number of plunges to allow you to change the blade.

If your software does not allow pause and continue where you left off - or it maybe does but you can’t work it out - a simple way is to hit the stop button after a complete aperture, change the blade, delete everything that has already been cut on the screen then start again.
