True Grumbler
Is anyone here familiar with the Cassese CS939? I went to go view a used one yesterday, for sale from a seller that is unfamiliar with the machine. He says he bought a building previously owned by a picture framer that had an untimely death, and the saw was sitting on a pallet in the basement disassembled. When I went to view it we couldn't find the Power cable!
Since then I've watched Cassese's demo video and it appears the cable is supposed to come down from the same place where the air hose connection happens. Is this correct? There is also a small hole to the left of the air connection that looks like it might be for the power cable to go through. Just above that hole is just below a grey box that looks like some European power cord could plug into it, but the socket holes have been blocked off for that one. I'm assuming that since these are made in France that they modify them at the factory to work in North America and that explains why those socket holes are blocked.
Is the power cable removable (like a computer cable) or did someone cut it off of the machine? Any help is welcome as it would be a shame for it to end up as scrap metal if all it needs is a new cable or something.
Anyone have a contact for an English speaking Cassese technician?
