Includes floor stand, plywood storage shelf, Seal tacking iron, vacuum pump and all supplies shown in photos for mounting and laminating including several kinds of mounting tissue, a nearly full roll of 41” laminating film, and both large and small release boards. The pistons on the platen lid are getting weak and should be replaced but there was a vendor listed on this forum who can supply them at a reasonable cost. $1100.00

Please email me or PM me with an “I’ll take it” for whatever items you desire. I need a firm “I’ll take it” from a potential buyer to be fair to the other members. Some of these prices can’t be duplicated anywhere else so please read carefully and consider what you are saving on some very well maintained shop equipment and supplies.

For additional photos of the other equipment, email me and I will send direct to you. There just isn't enough room to picture all this fine and well maintained equipment.

I would love the vise if it is in decent shape : )
Shipping to 40356

Also, the blue acid free paper for sale?

Sorry for the delay in returning messages, but I have had other pressing concerns of late.

Karen, the C&H mat cutter is still available.

Carey, the Euro 9009 could be shipped. I can get a shipping quote for you if you are interested.

Steven, the vise is gone, sorry. (Your comment about "if it's in good shape" made me chuckle. That's like asking "has the anvil been abused??") Stanley vises are almost indestructible!!

The paper dispensers and the laminate perforator are SPF as of now. (Sold pending funds)

Thank you all for looking.

mikki,

The oval cutter is still available and I will only charge the actual shipping charges on any of the equipment I have on these threads. Just from shipping other heavy items through the art gallery I would estimate that the oval cutter would cost in the neighborhoood of $70 - $80 to ship to TN.

I am not out to make a profit on either shipping costs or my equipment, rather I am trying to get my accumulation of 22 years of framing disposed of in a quick and orderly fashion, nothing more.

Mike,

The perforator is back on the market, the paper dispensers are tentatively sold pending a final decision and funds from another person. You are next on the list if he doesn't take them.

Thanks for the replies on things.

Hi Tom, "will take" the fillet miter chopper, the paper rollers and the and the yellow atg guns. Greg-800-249-0356

Greg,

Sorry, can I interest you in other valuable shop equipment that has been well maintained??

Thanks for looking.

Tom, I will take the perforator. Did Steven take the stanley vise? If not send me a pic and I will most likely take it also. Call me and we can discuss payment. Peace, Mike

Mike,

The Stanley vise was sold locally. I will call you on your shipping address and payment arrangements for the perforator.

For those interested, the following items are either SPF or sold for sure.

Stanley miter vise, SOLD
Fletcher 3000 wall cutter SPF
Paper dispensers (2) SPF
Seal perforator SPF
All workbenches and customer counter SPF and shipping arrangements (This man is getting the bargain of all bargains if he can work out the shipping!!!)

If anyone is interested in the Seal vacuum press, please read this old post and you will see how much I depended on this press for my mounting and laminating needs.

http://www.thegrumble.com/showthread.php?t=27701

I did quite a bit of newspaper article mounting, non-archival photo mounting, poster mounting, etc., and I can attest to the value of a vacuum press in a full service frame shop. My comments in this post regarding my press were honest and factual and reinforce my statements about using a vacuum press in your shop.

Tom, Forgot my phone # in above post, it is 859-253-3885

Mike,

I tried your phone # twice and it just rings, no voice mail, no answer, nada. Do you have a shop phone # that I can call??

Never mind, I just went to your web page and found that this IS your shop #!!

Tom..where is Freeport? I'm in Sebring...Do you still the matt boards, I may be interestded in them and some of the other supply stufff....tried to pm you but wouldn't work.

Tom..where is Freeport? I'm in Sebring...Do you still the matt boards, I may be interestded in them and some of the other supply stufff....tried to pm you but wouldn't work.

Freeport is up in the Panhandle NE of Destin and about 16 miles South of I-10 on Rte. 331 at DeFuniak Springs. I still have the matboard inventory and it is a real deal. You can check the types of mats out with any of the distributors here in the SE and verify the current costs of the mats. I am simply wanting to clear out the inventory and a rock bottom price is the best way to do that.

I also have quite a bit of bulk supplies such as boxes of screws, offsets, mending plates, ATG tape, easels, and other stuff. I will probably put all that in a box and take a bid on the box lot.

I need a tack iron and mounting tissue...If you still have it....Thanks, Judy

Judy,

Thanks for the offer but I have already included all the mounting tissue and laminating supplies and tacking iron in the package with the vacuum press which makes that a double sweet deal for the lucky buyer!!

You could try one of our sponsors, UMS, for a new tacking iron and tissue.

Thanks for looking.

Because I`m a cheapazz...........

Does that F1000 have a straight cutting head? I want one.....Anybody have a straight cut head for my F1100? L.

Is the underpinner still available? How much to ship? We are in central Pa.

Kira, I just lost a sale because I estimated the shipping way too cheap from down here!! I was shocked and amazed when I went to get estimates on shipping my Fletcher 3000 just up the way to SC!! The shipping ranged from a low of $350 to $500 just to ship 2 states North of me!! I honestly don't know what to tell you on shipping, I am presently putting out feelers on freight lines who still treat their customers with some kind of reasonable respect and can give shipping rates on items that aren't higher than the item itself!!! The excuses range from the high cost of fuel to the economy to increases in the cost of packing peanuts!!! Yeah, right, packing peanuts and cardboard are valuable commodities nowadays!!

My Euro is still available and it has been a most dependable workhorse for me and the most that has gone wrong with it is a minor air leak somewhere around the regulator that is still leaking and does not affect the operation of the underpinner one bit. I also have maybe 8 boxes of V-nails that I may be able to include with the underpinner. I will check with my boss as she will have little use for them once the underpinner is sold.

As I have told others, it is probably worth the trip to bring a van down and pick up the merchandise, spend a nice weekend on the world famous Emerald coast and I will personally treat anyone who comes down to the very best steamed seafood dinner that you have ever wrapped your lips around!!! (Just ask Barb Pelton or Mark Greene or a few others who have visited with me.) It won't be cheaper but you will get a beautiful weekend on the sugar white sands of the Panhandle and some fine eating. I can also give you a full .25¢ tour of this unique area!

I will be sure to post anything that I find out about the shipping on all of my posts currently running on the Grumble.

Does that F1000 have a straight cutting head? I want one.....Anybody have a straight cut head for my F1100? L.

The only head that "cuts" straight vertically on my F-1000 is the glass cutting adapter for cutting oval and circular glass. I don't know of another type of straight cutting head for the 1000. The regular cutting head is set up in such a manner that it holds 2 blades and can only cut either one direction or the other in a bevel fashion. For V-grooves you can set it up to cut both ways but there is no option for cutting straight up and down that I know of.

Thanks for looking.

Would you be willing toship the 60" cutter. If so I am interested.
Franny The Framer

PM sent to you Franny.

Please keep in mind that the magic words, "I'll take it!" trump all other interests. And please be sure you actually want the item before you commit to it. I can't control shipping costs. The wall cutter is 51" wide by 72" high by about 8" thick and weighs roughly 75 lbs so you are welcome to get local quotes on shipping from 32550 to your zip code if you like.

Thanks.

This is heated? Working 100% ?? Can you palette and ship to Louisville, KY or can I arrange shipping if you can palette it?

All the controls are working 100%, the press is in excellant condition overall. The one minor shortcoming is the gas pistons that raise the Platen, they are getting weak as was stated in the original ad and can be replaced very easily. There was someone who posted a distributor on the forum for these pistons and you can do a search for the name. If there is any question, I would contact the party and get a price on replacing them as I don't have a clue what they cost. They still hold the platen up and I didn't worry about them.

I can get a bid on putting the press and stand on a palette and shipping it. You are also getting about 5 or 6 boxes of mounting and laminating materials unless you don't want them. And the vacuum pump will probably have to be shipped separately, I will check about that if you are seriously interested. I spent half a day and drove over 60 miles to get estimates on another piece of equipment and none were suitable to the buyer so I am a bit reluctant to do that again.

I have no control on how much these shippers charge nor do I intend to make any further guesses on shipping for anyone. I don't want to lose any sales but I don't want to offend anyone either and so, if you feel better about it, you are welcome to get estimates from your end on shipping costs if the shipper services the Panhandle area of Florida. If you want to do that, the origin point for the shipping is Miramar Beach, Florida 32550.

Thank you for your interest and for looking at what I have offered.

Hi, Tim. I've read your "For Sale" strands and I'm very interested in the Vacuum Press, which I would come and pick up from you.

Quick question (I use a cold vacuum press so my lack of knowledge on heat presses is about to show here)--do I have to use the heat setting on this press at all times, or can I use it as a cold press when I want to? In other words, does it vacuum seal without heating, if I should so desire?

Thanks!
JoAnn

JoAnn, I have the 4468H and can use it either way, hot or cold. These should be the same, mine is digital though. With the digital I just don't turn on the heat and just manually turn on the pump, useing the control panel, to get the vaccumn. Joe

As JoeB said the Seal vacuum presses including mine work both hot and cold, with or without vacuum. I sometimes used it to dry relative moisture out of paper prints before mounting them or otherwise processing them. You can turn on just the heat to do this or you can use both heat and vacuum if you desire. You can also use the cold mount option with vacuum for some types of PVA and fabric adhesives. To answer your question specifically, YES, it will cold vacuum mount objects easily. All the controls are separate and can be turned on individually as needed.

I will include all the paperwork including the original owner's manual and all the miscellaneous directions I have accumulated through the years on mounting, laminating, flattening, drying, etc., for you to read. And, as the sale ad mentioned, all the materials that are under the press are included which amounts to probably close to $400 worth of drymount tissue, laminating material, foam overlay material used for laminating, both large and small release boards and a partial roll of release paper, and a carpeted plywood shelf that you can load up and take back if you come down to pick up the press. I would normally not ship that large flat shelf but you are welcome to take it along if you come down with a van or PU truck. Believe me, you are getting more than your money's worth if you decide to buy my press!

Please let me know ASAP as I must decide what to do with that and the moulding carousels since they are the only large items left in the gallery that belong to me. I want to either sell or move everything that is mine out so they can go on with their business without having any burdens of mine there to impede them. There is some interest in both the press and the carousels from other prospective buyers but there have been no definite intentions voiced as yet.

Thanks for looking and feel free to email me at framerguy1@hotmail.com with any further questions or a definite "I'll take it" reply from you. As I stated a couple of times, those are the magic words that will stop any further negotiations with other interested parties on any of the items I have for sale. That seems to be the only fair way to sell this equipment for all concerned when there is more than one interested buyer involved.

Hi, Tom! I'm very excited but I can't say for sure yet that I'll take it.

I'll talk to "The Man" and see what he thinks about taking a road trip to FL. He's my driver and lifter-of-all-things-heavy (ah, what our husbands won't do for us!), so if he says "Let's do it," I'll be in touch!

Thanks again for all your information and patience. Just a couple more days and I'll have an answer for you.

Thank you,
JoAnn

Hi Tom!

It looks like you may already have a buyer- I dont want to undercut that, but if it doesn't take and the Vacuum Press is still available, I'll definately take it! I can pick it up either tuesday or wednesday of this week!

Thanks!!
