I would like to find a used CMC for sale somewhere on the Western side of Canada or the US. I have seen several for sale on the East but shipping is just too much. I have no preference for the make or model, would like to spend as little as possible of course, and can pick it up within 18 hours driving from Vancouver BC. I'm a "basement" framer who would like to open a shop in the next year or two, maybe longer as my wife and I are expecting our first child, but am seeing the benefits of a CMC in both waste savings and design offers for clients. I recently framed a signed hockey 8x10 with two pins, a plaque and a rookie card and a v-groove around with double mats (5 openings + v-groove) and it took me forever! Looked great and the client was happy but man that was probably 1-3 hours per piece (there were 4 of them, some less some more complicated), I think a CMC would have been worth the money for those.
