I met this young man recently from North Texas that creates these works, I was so impressed that I ordered just a few to sell in my shop (since I sell some artful gifts in addition to my custom picture framing).
He's fairly new to this business, still ramping up.
Anyhow, I thought I'd post them here in case anyone was interested in purchasing similar items either wholesale or retail.
I doubt that most people outside of Texas would want anything with the "Texas" theme, but he says he's open to other ideas.
He makes these in different sizes... and yes, those are waves carved into the wood.
His prices are quite reasonable... particularly for such items that are made one-at-a-time.
