Wondering whether to fix or replace ...

My Senco brad gun broke this morning (the hammer bent!)

So, I'm wondering whether to fix it or to invest in a fine gauge (23G) "pin" nailer. I seem to recall Jim M. giving them a positive review, but can't recall the details.

If you have a 23G and an 18G, which do use most? When do you use the 18G in place of the 23G?

Any thoughts or recommendations?

The price on pin nailers has come way down. I would doubt that you could get your old gun repaired for less then the cost of a new one.
