Of course it has to happen on a Sat. when I can't call for help. My Wizard isn't wanting to cut all the way through the matboard. Nothing has changed; compressor right where it's always been; new blade. Rebooted computer, still having the problem. Any suggestions?

Did, but shouldn't have needed to. Cutting same mats as always; shouldn't need to adjust the depth.

Did you reset the driver pack, also? (the external box that plugs into the PC)

Nope, Mike, didn't know to do that. Will give that a try. Thanks!

What model do you have?
Is it not cutting through all the way around or just in one side?

First shut everything off including driver pack then start up again.
Put new blade in.
Check depth setting on the cutting head.
Check depth setting in the software.
Double check the thickness of the mat board
(If it is crescent They have been changing thicknesses lately one batch to the next.)
Double check the air pressure make sure it is at least I believe 90lbs. (check manuel on this)

If you have it calibrated so close to perfect a little unnoticed change in the thickness of board will do you in. Even high humidy will swell the board enough to make you have to adjust the depth a little.

If you have had it for awhile have you ever given it a once over checking all the allen screws etc.

A minor problem I would just make the depth adjustment to make it through the weekend. Then call Wizard Tech support on Monday.
Good luck

Thanks for the help! Rebooted the computer AND driver pack AND put a new blade in just for safe measure. Cut a mat, and it cut just fine. Hoping the problem is solved!

If you have never changed your blade holder cartridge, that will make a difference too. They do wear with age. Replacements are good to have around. They are sold in packs of 5; not expensive.
 Rick

Another tip. While you have your computer and driver box turned off, occasionally remove and then reattach both ends of the large black connecting cable, and snugly tighten them into place. They can come loose from repeated movement, and this may cause the machine to "freak out" and stop cutting. Doing this procedure has cured any (very infrequent) odd behavior of the Wizard. Also, maybe this is just superstition on my part, but when I turn on my system, I power up the driver box first and let it run for a few minutes while the compressor is coming up to pressure, before turning on the computer and starting MatDesigner. Everything seems to play nicely together this way.
