Sarah designed and framed this as a donation piece for a local historical organization. So many customers commented on it that she made one for the gallery. The second print was framed with less than perfect moulding shorts. I guess we might want to touch up the photo a bit. But the mat is fun.

Beautiful work. One note though, Kirstie, I know you have other priorities this week, but you might want to ask your webmaster to work on that page, because the artist's name is Goines, and both the headline and body text spell it Gones.

Thanks Rick, I just fixed it. My web designer admits that he can't spell. I usually proof carefully--too much on my mind. What's funny is that David Goines saw the page, liked it, and sent a compliment. He must not have seen the spelling error!

Hi Kirstie,

To shamelessly Frankenthread, I prayed last night that your knee surgery and recovery will go well. So, if anything goes wrong, you've got me and God to blame. Haha. I hope it goes smoothly and that walking is smooth and pain free for you soon.

As for this frame design, the things you post are a good reminder of how many levels every craft has. From what I've seen, the designs coming out of your shop are well-proportioned, creative and classic in that good way which stands the test of time. They're always inspiring to see.
