Can't wait to call Wizard so I'm askin' here:

(1) When I check the box for it to cut the outside, it cuts the outside edge on a bevel. Is this normal or did I miss a check box someplace.

(2) I have an Irish verse to mat. The cutart index lists two folders; Celtic 1 and Celtic 2. I don't have them. Does anyone else? Where can I get them? I WANT 'EM...I WANT 'EM...I WANT 'EM.

(3) I followed the steps from Brian Wolfe's class handout for cutting a double mat (stacked) . Worked slick accept........the top mat window bevel was cut "normal" and the bottom mat window was cut with a reverse bevel. Made it a little difficult to remove the drop outs.

(4) When using the True Type Font featue, is there a chart available showing the minimum height a font can be to get a decent cut letter?

Thanks,

--All cuts are on a 45-degree bevel. The option to cut the outside simply allows you to cut the outside of the mat in the current mat, instead of using a pre-cut blank, but is still cut with a bevel.

--Call Wizard/Marketing in the morning. The complete CutArt PDF was erroneously released ahead of schedule, and includes the extended CutArt that has not yet been released. The licensed CutArt are not yet currently available, but they should be able to give you a guesstimate on when they will be released.

-- After the clamps disengaged, you should have been able to remove the mat from the CMC and the drop outs usually just stay behind on the board. I'll have to try it out in the morning.

(4) When using the True Type Font featue, is there a chart available showing the minimum height a font can be to get a decent cut letter?
-- No. The reason being is that Wizard has provided the ability to load TTF, but because of the myriad number of fonts and font providers, there is no reasonable way to test the TTF. For instance, on my computer I have 28 versions of Ariel. If I test “Ariel” TTF, which one am I testing, and will you have the same version?

has anyone heard any news as to when the extended CutArt might be released?
