Hi, First-timer here.

We just installed Wizard IF RMS and I have too many questions swirling around in my head to think straight! But I'll start with just one...

What is the fastest and easiest way to enter info on all the products we will be selling that have nothing to do with framing? (We're a new store opening in mid-September.)

Many thanks,

Kay

Easy way would be to organize and make a list of your products.

Choose a SKU#, we use a sku for different products. 1####being Ready mades, 2#### being easels etc. Choosing a 5 digit # gives us up to 9999 items in that category.

Choose a description.
Choose a location (if you want to use).
Choose a cost.
Then set up a markup table for the merchandise.
I have made a form that has this info in the order that it will be entered in the computer. That way when anything new comes in that I want to add I just fill out the form and then it is ready to be entered. it is just a sheet with Five columns.

If you have a large amount of items call Ryan at wizard tech support 1-888-855-3335 he may be able to tell you how to set up a spread sheet if you already have info in your computer..

Thanks

First, many thanks to Gumby for the help. Makes perfect sense.

I also want to say that I'm pretty impressed with Wizard customer service at the moment. I was out sick today, but my husband got a call from Ryan at Wizard saying he heard I had a lot of questions and maybe he could walk me through a few things. The only way he could have known I had questions was through The Grumble, but they didn't wait for me to call--they called me first. Pretty impressive I think.

Thanks again-

WOW! That IS impresive! You "rock" Wizard Ryan (I personally think that phrase is the 'ultimate' compliment ;) ).

Thank you for sharing Kay - and WELCOME to TG! Hope to see more of you!!
