This poll is aimed to identify the importance of specific computerized mat cutter (CMC) features and capabilities.

Your discussion and answers are very important! Thank you for participating!

Very interesting and well done poll.

I encourage all Wizard users to share their input.

One of the main reasons we went with wiz over the others is that the company's going to be around as long as the have machines being rented.

I just wanted to thank everyone who's voted so far, and to encourage everyone else (including non-Wizard customers) who haven't voted yet to do so..

Also, for those that are running our software version 5.1 or later and have internet access on your Wizard PC, please go to Defaults, Software Usage Measurements and click the "Send Measurements" button. This function sends us data about which templates, CutArt, and fonts are used the most, and will allow us to focus on producing better and popular content. If you have dial-up, you'll need to connect to your ISP first before clicking the button.

Thanks again! And thanks for help making Wizard such a great place to work (almost 9 years for me now and running)..

John Ranes had a very good answer in PFM this month when he brought up the question of which machine and brand loyalty.

He summed up perfectly why we have had The Wiz in our stores for about as long as they have been in business.

Baer, yeah our newer 8000 models all cut 8-ply just fine... if you ever find yourself up in our neck of the woods make sure to stop by and I'll give you a tour.

I want to thank all of you who took the time to vote. We take your input very seriously and personally, I put great faith into customer, (hopefully) future customer, and even our critics input.

If you have any specific comments regarding CMC's, please feel free to write me directly.

Edd,
So what are you going to do with this info now that you have it?

He's going to feed the info into the wiz-bangers formula maker and then you can down load it into your Wizard.

Stick a 40x60 into the machine and push the "Go" button.... It will then cut all the info into a mat design....LOL

Steve, I will make note, and take you up on that next run through the sound. Prob July. Lunch at the little Mexican that used to be Dos Palmas?

Baer, you're on! Except if you want Mexican, it'll probably have to be Las Palmeras (their new restaurant in Mill Creek is pretty nice actually, maybe that's what yer thinkin?), or Azteca...

I'll let Edd answer the other question..

David,

All I will admit to right now is that we have a history of being responsive to our Customers wants and needs.

Sometimes we (Wizard) can get a bit myopic about what features we think the customers will love, when in fact we need to discover what features our customers feel will truly benefit them. A benefit for them is usually something that contributes to their bottom line.

Hopefully what you will see from this exercise, are new or upgraded product offerings that address some of the 'important' features that customers want.
