Hi Folks,
I have been offered a refurbished CMC for $12,000. Can anyone tell me if they have had this experience and if it has worked out good or bad.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards
T

Depends on who refurbished it & what model it is.

Check with Mark at the CMC Doctor. He sells and supports used machines. He would be a good reference as to whether your deal is a good one.

I noticed the following * on Wizard deals "*Price reflects discount. All contracts and orders must be received by 1/30/09 to be eligible for this special offer. " Has this deal been extended?

Please refer to the commercial posts forum here on the Grumble. There are several CMC's for sale. Proceed with caution Gumby is correct "It depends on you refurbished it". Buying a used CMC is like buying a used car: use your common sense, ask the experts, and if it seems too good to be true it probably is.

Hi Mark,

Yes, the specials have been extended. Thank you for raising the question for clarification.

I purchased 5 year old 8000 from a local framer going out of business. I upgraded the computer to run the latest version of wizard software. I haven't had any problems with the machine and the Wizard support people have been very helpful with anything that has come up.
