I designed a mat cutout on my laptop. I copied and pasted it to my flash drive, then i put it in the MAT folder in the computer that came with my Wizard 8500e. I double clicked the cutout and it popped up, but without the fonts i choose. I looked for the fonts to convert them, but they did not exist. The fonts are Clarendon Condensed & and Rockwell Extra. How to fix this? Thanks.

These happened to me once because I was using a font that I have in my laptop but was not in the PC that was connected to my Wiz.
Check if the fonts are on the Wiz PC. If not copy the font files from your laptop to the Wiz PC.

Regards,
Troy

Thanks, but how exactly do you get to the fonts? What folder? The only wizard fonts i found in my laptop were these in "c:/program files/wizard/fonts":

Arial
Caravan
Classic
Default
Sigital
Futura
Greek
Monster
Oldengl
Photo
Roman and Greek Capitals
Scratch
Serpentine
Tall

That's it... NO "TTF" (Clarendon Condensed, Rockwell Extra, etc.)
The only thing i can figure out is Wizard lists ALL the fonts i use in the Microsoft Word software, NOT what comes with the Wizard software. If that is the case, how do i copy and paste the fonts (where are they?) to my flash drive from my laptop to my Wizard computer? I do not have Microsoft Word in my Wizard computer...
Thanks.

The fonts you are looking for are most likely in the windows fonts folder.
In my laptop and Wiz PC , it is in C:\WINDOWS\Fonts ( I have XP on both)

The fonts that bzkbz16 listed are LetterMat fonts, which are created and designed specifically for the Wizard.

The other fonts listed are TTF (True Type Fonts), and are located in the /Windows/Fonts directory. As indicated, the TTF will use any fonts in your /Windows/Fonts directory, so if a saved mat is selected to use a specific font, make sure that font is also on the other computer you are moving it to.

TTF (True Type Font) are Windows-based fonts. Wizard has offered this feature to allow users access to different fonts/sizes/Wingdings, etc.
Because of the complexity and the myriad number of TTFs available, Wizard cannot guarantee satisfactory results. Experiment at your own risk.

Thanks for the info. I made copies of the fonts i wanted (6) in Microsoft Office and put them in my Wizard Computer. I used TWO so far and had no problem with the cutouts... the letters/numbers were no smaller than 2.25" x 2.25". :popc:
