I'm selling my Wizard 8000. It comes with everything except the mat bins (they're going in the trash tomorrow). You will need to buy nothing to start cutting mats. It was put into service mid 2004 and lightly used cutting around 1900 mats. When I rented it, it was junior rental. I never used all the corners and had something like 7000 corners when I purchased the machine. I don't have the total corner count handy but can get that.

I'm asking $6000 but would consider reducing that a bit with a trade-in of a good manual mat cutter. It can be seen and picked up in Louisville Ky. I can be reached in this thread, via PM, or email jay@greatangles.com.

My inbox filled up a few days ago for a few days. If anybody did email me over the last 3 or 4 days and the mail was undelievered, I have fixed that. I was thinking it was odd that there have been over 300 views of this thread and very few inquiries.

Nice offer. If it was not for ALREADY trying to pay off a bank loan, I would be driving to Louisville to see you in the next few days :(

While I think it really unhelpful to bring up unknown “what-ifs” I am glad you brought this up. It gave me a chance to inquire about this with Wizard. When I purchased the machine I did purchase software rights. That was over 5 years ago and my memory is failing but I believe that was $250.

Nonetheless those software rights transfer to the new owner. I even asked if the PC were to crash, would the new owner need to then purchase new software usage rights? They said that as long as I (or the new owner) were to notify Wizard about the exchange, all of the rights I currently have were transferred to the new owner.

I assume this was your concern as I'm unsure what other “license” there could be. I would appreciate it if you could clarify your concerns before posting. If the concern is accurate, then it is what it is you're welcom to post away. If not then you could jeopardize a sale based on a falsehood. Nobody would want to do that. It seems you had purchased the embossing kit which your current software couldn't use. In that case you actually needed different software and the manufacturer of that software would certainly be deserving of compensation.

At any rate, there seems to be little response at this point. I'm going to list the machine on Ebay next week. If anybody would like to make an offer before that, I would entertain it.

Carry on.

Glad to see you posted that. I was going too if you didn't.

Rod, Jay bought this from Wizard after renting it. There is no rental fee if that was what you were implying.

Good luck, Jay :)
