This is probably not the best time of year to ask this, because we are all so busy, but I would love to see what some of you have done with your windows.
I am doing my christmas window tomorrow and would love some cool ideas :D .

I have very large windows that I love but boy, are they hard to keep interesting and flashy.

Let's see what you guys have done.

Me, too, Jennifer. Wish I could be of some help, but I am still brainstorming what to do for ours. I have already bought two Christmas trees. One for the photog studio Christmas set & one for home; don't want to buy another one. Thinking of white lights & ???? I am really having frame-shop-window-decorator's-block. If I think of something...or better yet...do something, I'll be sure to share.

This year I am displaying Santa Claus themed items which I have framed. I have three oil paintingd of Santa Claus, a pen and ink of a nurse kissing Santa, a copy of "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus, matted and framed, a letter from a little boy (my dad) to Santa handwritten in 1924, an old CocaCola Santa ad from a magazine, and a vintage ornament in a shadowbox frame. This is something you must plan ahead in order to collect the various items.

Last year I wrapped large boxes with big bows. On each box was a word to read "Give the Gift that Lasts a Lifetime . . . Custom Framing".
Each year I also use a very old, large, ornate frame with thick wire, hung with the largest hanger--this is our logo on business cards and labels. The frame has been black, shiny silver, silver with red distressing, and this year it is a platinum Liberon shade.

Our Open House is Sunday, then I will start thinking of next year.

Sister,

Those are great ideas.

I already have a small feather tree up with Hand carved wooded santa head ornaments, done by a local carver.

I love the large package ideas. I would probably put our moto which is...
"Expressing the Art of Framing"

I would love to see pictures.

I do need to plan ahead for next year, I am just not that organized. I know I need to be. Maybe I'll start this year.

I just love this site. I can't tell you how much it has helped my business. The idea's from you creative people are always so wonderful.

I have a few large chunky/wide frames that I am going to wrap in white lights for my also large windows. I am going to try and wrap them differently too so they stand out. FYI - if you take a 8.5x11 hard copy to Staples they can blow it up pretty big, larger than 24x36 I know. I plan on incorporating this in the window as well.

We stuffed the windows with nice photo frames...

the simple banner across the middle was a straight forward true statement.

A framed picture of you, is the one thing they can't buy for themselves.
Unless they hired a private investigator.

sure sold a whole bunch of photo frames last year.

And usually it wasn't one or two. --- more like 6-10 at a time. One woman bought 14.. all Epoch art frames....we gave her a Christmas 10% off.
