Anyone ever used clark metal moulding in a outdoors application? I want to frame some signage to go outside the backdoor of my shop. Over the years customers have brought in metal hardware and screws that have rusted so I'll prime them. Thanks in advance.

What are you putting in it? I'd be more concerned about water getting in to the frame from the front bottom edge and wicking up the back and ruining whatever you have in it. You could put a bead of silicone between the glass and frame but that really, to me, is only delaying the inevitable. Also drilling weep holes along the bottom edge might help if the item to be framed is a water-proof/resistant material.

I use aluminum angle from aluminum/siding supplier...they have several styles that make nice frames for outdoor signs......maybe Clark will hold up well, never tried it.
