I have a customer who is interested in wild life pictures either original art or a print.
She has looked in Bruce McGaw & other catagloues found with Leibermans & feels they are to stiff & formal. Can anyone recommend any sources? She also looked at my Paul Brent catalogue. Thanks!

Have you tried the annual issues of PFM, Decor, and ArtBusinessNews? They categorize art by subject matter, and there are many listings for catalogues in there. Good hunting.

I don't know who distributes his work but there is a local artist who has done a lot of those type of subjects. His name is John Ackers and he did the original poster for the Aquarium of The Americas here in New Orleans . i belene that he lives near here in Mandaville, La.maybe some other galleries around here can help more we see those birds all the time.

I recently went to an open house by a local artist, who does beautiful wildlife watercolors and makes his own prints. (he also cuts his own mats) His name is Steve Leonardi and his website is www.sleonardi.com. Your customer might find what he/she wants there. His home is in Prosperity, PA.

Another local artist, one whom I do a lot of work for. He has a beautiful Egret print and a new complimentary print of a Blue Heron, along with a lot of nature (especially birds) prints. He is on line at MarcusThomas.com. Not only is he a good artist, he is a quadralplegic, and paints entirely with his mouth. Check it out!
