I have a customer who is looking for really wide metal moulding. Somewhere in the 3 - 4 inch range. Nothing spectacular, just simple black. We only have Neilsen, and none of theirs are that wide. Does anyone know of any companies that make a metal frame that wide?
 
You could achieve the necessary width by stacking several suitable profiles.

12-16 #15s should do it.
 
Or you could start with the wide flat Tribeca profile from LJ and stack a Nielsen 97 inside that. I LOVE that look!

Nielsen's metalline line (I don't have the numbers handy) has one fairly wide molding that slopes on the back to make a narrow edge that easily fits into another metal molding. It'a a metal liner!

There are several metal molding combinations that will fit into each other for a wider frame.

Alumaframe makes several wide moldings, but they are hard to line up when fitting. (and they look like Alumaframe) I prefer to stack several smaller moldings.
