Amazing how much a desktop printer weighs now!!

I'm so glad I hired a couple of homeless guys to move my Epson 9900 when it came in. It weighed in at almost 260lbs and that didn't include the stand!!

The only thing you might want to watch with discontinued printers (or about to be) is how long they will be supporting the ink carts for that particular machine.
But for that price, you almost can't go wrong!

Looks like this is a 5 color printer with CYM and two blacks. The CYM inks are dyes, the blacks are pigment. I wonder how long the dyes will last on the print? The old dye based printers I have used like the Epson 3000 are not known for their long lived prints, I learned this the hard way.
