Why Must I "Refresh"?

Bill, if this has been posted before and I missed it, forgive me. When I exit from reading a new post on a current topic and by hitting the back button, try to get back to the current day to read more, I lose the current day's posts. I must then go to the Refresh to return to the current stuff. Any help here?
 
MM, I notice the smae thing, but it seems to only do it on a couple of Forums. 'Picture Frame Design' and the 'Tech' Forums are the two that it happens to with me.
 
Happens to me too, but if I use the "next" link at the top or bottom of the page, everything is where it should be. When I want to forum hop I use the "forum home" link at the top of the page.

Refreshing doesn't help me. I just takes me back to the beginning page. I went to the Design Forum and went all the way through the "next newest topic" thing until it came to the Paper Tole topic, then it told me there were no new topics!

Oh well, somebody please tell me when something's new down there...

You can imagine that I spent some time trying to find another way to phrase the question. I'm surprised that Charles, Ron, and some other unnamed funlovers didn't beat you to it, Lance. Even in quotes, it didn't sneak. :D
 
I've noticed the same problem. I bypass the problem by chosing "Topics for the last 2 days" at the top of each forum, that I want to read. It does limit what you get to see, though.

I tried that Heather, but I don't get a choice of days on the Designs Forum. And it's the same on 3 different computers. :(
