This one was a challenge.... cut the mat on the CMC and then mitred the corners on our DeWalt chop saw.....a little free handing on the cut but it turned out great.

Nice job. I hate making those severe angle cuts though. I saw a show a few weeks ago where they were making a flag case. They used a table saw for just about everything on that one.
 
It's kinda TV Star Trek meets Currier and Ives, but somehow it works. And an outstanding achievement in the fine art of mitering! Congrats!
 
Nice Job. I have done a few odd shapes over the years. I have always used a Table Saw with an aftermarket mitre gauge. For some reason I seem to get these kind of projects in the Christmas Rush. Never get to enjoy making them.
 
Love the shape, but what kind of sadistic painter issues a print in THAT shape? I still want a few equalateral triangular frames to play with, personally.....L
