Been selling a lot of these lately. Must be something in the water.

Man oh man - I can't believe that anyone could sell those things - they are really ugly IMHO - really really ugly. Really.

I have that brochure and would not even begin to DREAM to show it to anyone much less pay hard-earned money to shell out for as live sample.

Really ugly.

I agree.................:vomit: TACKY!!!
Sorry CVM.......I do a lot of biz with inline..........but OMG I cant even begin to sell these!!!
Do you really sell the shadowboxes with the goblets in them???

Ok, to be a contrarian, I have the catalog and I like them. :p But I can't sell them, as my customers generally faint when they hear the prices. Unfortunately, my market just won't bare that kind of cost. But I guarantee I could sell nearly everything they have if it cost 50% less, as their wholesale price is right around what my customers are willing to pay.

If you were to retire your customers could just cut out the middleman. They would cry once they heard the shipping costs though.

Here Here!

Never had any luck with these. When we compare the cost of one of those to what we can do with some creative wizard cuts the customer takes our framing everytime. They are just to expensive and I am not crazy about the look of most of them. I am very happy you are doing well with them though. I hope you keep jamming with them!

The LETTER BOXES, man, the LETTER BOXES!

Sorry, when I linked to the jpeg it put the whole catalog on there...

We sell A LOT of those letter boxes, along with the block letters to go with them.

Yes we do custom jersey boxes out of our own stock; we did 14 for one NFL player alone, for example, but these have been great. Mark 'em up 2.25 + ship, order 'em in, hand 'em to the customer.

My exact thoughts as I was viewing them. U-G-L-Y. I can usually be fairly neutral but those things really evoke that kind of response from me.

A lot of times I just let the marketplace dictate what I sell. Fancy that.

Thanks for letting us know what works for you, cvm.
Way to go on selling the heck out of 'em!

Do they come with conservation acrylic and glass or
just regular? I write at home, so am not near my
catalogue to check, and by the time I get to work
on Friday, this thread will have been replaced in
my head by a big pile of turkey.

The letter boxes are by far the least ugly of the lot.

I think what bothers me about the other ones, like the goblet frame - the frame is sooooo thick it destroys the delicacy of the glass goblet. Just plain kills it.

Maybe the huger the object framed the less awful these frames would be.....

In Line makes some really nice reproduction antique style frames, ovals and lozenge shapes in grained finishes with convex glass. Makes up for those clunky shaped shadowboxes......

I agree with this. I had a fellow bring in a frame like that
several years ago, hoping to duplicate it for another
old hand-tinted photo. I traced the low cathedral shape
of the frame onto a piece of kraft paper and sent it
off to Inline. They made one of the grained finish frames
in a custom shape for it, and the two looked perfect
together.

I like the Letter Boxes too, cvm!

Well, I don't think they are horrible, but I don't like them either. These seem like the thing that may have been a neat idea in theory, but not in execution. On many of the items, I think the frames are distracting and just overpower the item being framed which, for me, is the last thing I want in a frame. I find the asymmetrical ones (like on the bat and gun) to be a bit too busy and even a little tacky. The letter and number boxes are the only ones I would consider using, as they are more playful and seem to be used to help give attention to a collection of small things rather than distract from one large item. On the other hand, I just keep thinking the only people who would want these would be in high school and I can't see spending the money on something that someone will probably quickly out grow.
