First, I want to thank Kathy for all of her hard work at getting this new chapter established. She seems to put her heart and soul into everything she does.

Second, I want to remind everyone of the event coming up on February 13. We are all excited about having Jim Miller with us for the day! Even if you are not in our official chapter area, you are still invited!! Send inquiries to MAPChapterPPFA@aol.com. I hope to see you there!!!

Way to go, Kathy. I know you won't regret any of the time you took to get the chapter going. I'm sure you aren't the only one to work on it, but I know you really wanted it badly.

Patti, you are too modest. All I did was start making the noise for the new chapter. Pam and I both jumped in hoping we would find interested parties in helping get this off the ground. We both knew we had too many emotional problems to be in charge.(I can say that because the chances are slim that Pam will ever read this to defend herself) We had high hopes and were not disappointed. We have a great leader (you) and a great group of people rounding out the board. With your direction we will go far.

We are having a great response for the event, everybody seems really excited. There is still time for people to sign up...............

There's still time to sign up, you can mail in a check or pay at the door. We are having a great response, it is going to be a wonderful event!

I'd also like to take the time to thank Peter Ackerman for sending some very generous doorprizes, totally unsolicited I might add. Thanks Peter and United Manufacturers!
