The holes on the new Crescent Specifiers don't match the rings on our 3-ring binders. They don't match those on any I tried at the store, either.
Had to cram it into our paper punch, put it on the floor and stand on it to punch new holes. How about you?

Don’t have a new Crescent specifier, but my mind’s eye was greatly exercised visualizing you standing on a three-hole punch. And you didn’t fall off?

One foot was on it. The other was on the floor. We have an old metal punch, which we now know can withstand 144 pounds.
What actually happened was that I gave up on trying to fit our binders, so I took the specifier to the store. Tried it with a whole bunch of different binders and it didn't match any of the rings. Bought a folder to hold the specifier, came back, and decided to write about it. Then my head said, 'Somebody's going to ask, 'Why didn't you just punch new holes?', and why didn't you?' So, I got out the paper punch, crammed the specifier in,
and managed to make new holes. But they're so close to the new ones that it now has double-wide holes. Which almost go off the back.

Maybe the binders on the East Coast have their rings in different places.

New specifier, you say? Haven't seen that. Guess I'll have to wait and get one at WCAF.

Maybe they are from across the pond. Do Euro notebooks have different ring spacing?

A quick Googling gave me 2 3/4" (7cm) ring spacing for US and 8 cm spacing for an A4 binder
