Now, when you click on a notification that someone commented on an item you commented on, instead of taking you to that item in your news feed, it takes you to the collected "recent activity" of the item's original poster.

Why don't those youngsters quit coding and go get some pizza?

Which is exactly why I have declined all offers to teach anything Facebook at the WCAF or other venues.

The last time I did teach a class, exactly one week before the class, the entire format changed rendering all my PowerPoint screen shots useless. :(

I'm certain that FB people are obsessed by two objectives, in this order:
1. Greed!
2. Annoy the pi55 out of as many users as possible, as many times as possible!

Maybe it's like the grocery store shuffle. Whenever I finally know where everything I want in the grocery store is, they reset the entire store. The purpose being to make you stay longer. As FB tweaks they are giving (selling) their advertisers more face time with the users.

Wait til the video ads start rolling, you can see some of it working in the past day, if someone post a video it is going. You no longer have to click to play.

Eventually they will reach the point where the annoyance/exploitation factor will outweigh the novelty/convenience factor, and they will kill the goose that laid the golden egg.
