We have a customer who gives framed invitations for wedding gifts. One day, she came in asking if she could do something special with the first one, but she wanted to keep it small. I came up with the simple layout, and she liked it, but mentioned it felt like it needed something else. I explained to her I could do a similar clip art into the top mat to fill out the design. Although it would add to the price (she wanted it to be under a certain price,) she loved the idea enough to go ahead and do it.

A few weeks ago, she came back to report that it had been a big hit, and now she wanted another one done. This one was a more traditional invitation, but she still wanted another programmed mat. So I came up with this one:

I've been noticing we've been doing more custom-programmed mats lately...could it be a trend...? :D

Nice, Dave.

I use to do invitations with programmed mats and enjoyed them too. Since I
no longer have a Wizard I can't offer them anymore. :(

Great job. I love framing invitations, and do quite a few of them. It's the kind of framing you can "stretch out" on with designs, and it doesn't compete but, rather, add to the festive nature of the piece.
 Rick

Were those swirls on the first one from the Wizard clip art collection or did you have to make them?
