For those of you who also sell limited edition prints, does anyone know of another classified web site available since artlister has been in the holding pattern for 2 months now? They had a great section for people to post what they were looking for and a place to list pieces to sell.

Just thought I'd let you all know, I answered my own question, Artfinders has a section called "Looking for" also another cool site I found is world-wide-art.com. Frame on!

What about a site for the sale of pieces. What are the best sites. I have a number of pieces I'd like to get rid of since I closed my shop.

Actually, I just found a great new site just yesterday. Perfect for your situation (as far as I know) but it is called theprintfinder.com. You don't have to be a store and you can list at retail or close to retail depending how aggressive you want to be. Each listing however costs $6.00 so choose wisely but I'd be curious what you think after you look at it. I'm excited about it. I emailed one of the galleries at the end of the day who is using it but haven't heard back yet. I wanted to hear how it is working for them.
Another suggestion for you to move inventory is: contact any of the other sites that sell prints and send them a list of the prints you have that would be appropriate for what they are doing, see if they will consign or buy outright. Or better yet, start your own site (better....I don't know) but it would give you something new to learn that's for sure. Or contact the stores around your area directly that have some similar inventory. They may be open to that since you are not their competition anymore.
OK....I'm done :)
