Ok, it's an older version but it successfully installed on my new computer and I was able to restore from backup with the help of an external zip drive. It'll do until the new disk comes. Now what to do with the computer that died today leaving me without Lifesaver for the day. Anyone need a new boat anchor?

Congratulations Anne!

As for the old PC, if it's not hopelessly obsolete, maybe it could be revived; it could be something as simple maybe a hard for less than a hundred $!

I'm not sure if I want to try fixing the old one and using it at the house or replace one of the other 2 computers that I know will need it soon. One is a Toshiba laptop with a dead screen. Gary would like a new laptop with a working screen so he doesn't have to keep using a monitor with it. The other is the Dell we use for all our digital imaging. It's 4 years old and a bigger, faster digital imaging computer would be nice. But if I take the Dell to the house, there will be that "well it's there and it can handle it so we might as well take work home" compulsion.
